General Expectations:
The Director of Premium Stewardship & Events is responsible for providing primary services and support for TCF Bank Stadium suites, indoor and outdoor club seating, Mariucci Arena Suites, Williams Arena Barn lofts, the club rooms of all three venues, and other areas used by premium seating patrons of The University of Minnesota. This position also oversees the sales, marketing, and managing of premium spaces and events within TCF Bank Stadium on non-game days throughout the calendar year. Responsible for the overall management and revenue growth of all fundraising events run by the Golden Gopher Fund office and assist with similar events hosted by Gopher Sports Properties. These fundraising events currently include golf tournaments, annual scholarship dinner and wine experience event. This position will also manage donor or sponsor travel with any of our athletics squad during the regular season and post-season events. Assist in the overall management of various premium seating and suite sales, agreement contracts and payments.
Assist in the coordination of all game day activities related to premium seating at University of Minnesota venues including but not limited to; security staff, ticketing, catering/concessions, facilities maintenance, and guest services. Manage, create and execute various stewardship initiatives for donors and premium seating participants. Coordinate various special events under the direction of Athletic Development Office. This position will differentiate and coordinate the needs of both Gopher Sports Properties and the Golden Gopher Fund and their respective clients, making the goal of customer satisfaction the number one priority. In addition, this position will act as a liaison with the leverage of revenue for all stakeholders, thereby ensuring the maximum revenue generation for both the University of Minnesota and Gopher Sports Properties. This position will work extensively with the annual giving program by assisting in the coordination of premium seat patron's allocation and parking benefits. Candidates must have the ability to
work evenings and weekends on a regular basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

2. Coordinates the service needs related to all leased premium seating spaces, including parking, concierge service, catering, and game-day amenities.
3. Hires, trains and supervises suite and club seat attendants who serve clientele utilizing leased premium seating spaces.
4. Acts as liaison with caterer(s) for game days in all premium seating patron areas.
5. Acts as liaison with Athletics Facilities Office for upkeep and repair of leased TCF Bank Stadium premium seating areas.
6. Develops annual plan for game-day amenities and oversees implementation (e.g., photos, special offers, theme menus).
7. Troubleshoots patron issues and needs. Works in partnership with Athletics event management staff.
8. Assists with other special events hosted by the Department of Athletics, such as banquets, receptions, VIP events, tournaments, championships and donor events.
9. Assists in the selling of remaining premium seating spaces (suites, club seats, stadium club space).
10. Develops and monitors the budget associated with all TCF Bank Stadium Premium Seating and Club Room areas.
11. Assists the Ticket Office in the assignment or upgrading of season tickets to premium seating patrons.
12. Become knowledgeable of all sponsorship opportunities in order to maximize revenue with clients.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.

The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, will be hiring a Director of Premium Seating Stewardship and Events.
Gopher Athletics offers 25 NCAA sponsored Division I sports and participates in the Big Ten and WCHA conferences.
