Yikes....I just watched the New England/Bills game tonight and I have to say that the '72 Dolphins should be really worried. Tonight's game was a pure clinic on how a team can completely manhandle another team.
With 4 touchdowns in the first half alone, all by Randy Moss, then a second half that allowed the defense to join in, the final score of 56-10 did not even represent the overwhelming power of Tom Brady & Co. If you watched the game at all, you saw Brady in complete command, pretty much confusing the defense and even converting some 4th downs with ease.
Randy Moss didn't even need to show up. Without his scores, they would of still won. Also, NE ended up running some fullbacks as running backs and they still were able to score with little efforts. While I know that the Bills were in disarray, I think the Patriots were just unstoppable. Poor Dick Jauron, but he's probably in a long line of coaches this season who will be victimized by the Patriots.
So, now they are 10-0 with 6 winnable games left in the season. With Pittsburgh losing today, it looks stronger that they could run the table with just the Giants at the end of the season posing any sort of problem against them.
While I hate to see another record broken, the Patriots are the closest I've seen a team dominate good competition with ease. I wouldn't be surpised if they are able to go the distance with relative ease.
Well see, but until then, I look forward to watching the pigskin fly the last six weeks.
